As you serve Evangel with your gifts, I’d like to encourage you to recall that something as simple as mowing our grass is Kingdom work. In Genesis 2:15 God issued man the creation mandate, “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” (NIV) There are many opportunities to serve God and participate in our Evangel family within facilities maintenance. When you vacuum, change furnace filters, pull weeds, care for flowers, wash dishes, change light bulbs or paint a wall you are demonstrating hospitality. Just as in your own homes, each contributes to steward that with which God has blessed you. When we share a meal or you host FLOCKS your homes are warm, welcoming and a reflection of your friendliness. It’s the same at Evangel. Thank you for your participation in making Evangel a reflection of God’s grace in our lives.
